Information warfare and its limitations
Signs of information warfare are all across the landscape, ranging from grifters seeking political influence in the union government, to governments `continuing political intercourse with the addition of other means’. In my column in the Business Standard today, Information warfare and its limitations, I sketch the contours of information warfare today, and offer ideas on how this will unfold in coming days. I suspect that in the future, we will look back at 2016 as the high water mark of the potency of information warfare.
Income tax limitations upon the `Liberalised Remittance Scheme’ (LRS)
With recent changes in income tax law, greater friction has been introduced into the cross-border financial activities of Indian residents.
