Electricity: A strategic view
Akshay Jaitly, K. P. Krishnan and I put together a compact strategic picture on the inter-related fields of electricity and finance. This appeared as a column in the Business Standard on 5 August. There is a large gap in the pace of decarbonisation. Changing this requires a strong reforms process in the interlinked areas of electricity and finance. The magnitudes of resourcing involved are larger than anything that either sector has seen before.
