K. P. Krishnan has a column in the Business Standard today, The provincialisation of the All India Services, which lies at the intersection of the foundational process of government HR and the question of decentralisation.

Akshay Jaitly and I have an article Implications of free transmission of renewable energy on The Leap Blog on 19 April, where we think about how the expansion of the Inter-state Transmission System (ISTS) could impact on discom finances.

My column in the Business Standard on 18 April, Focus on CPI inflation, argues that price instability of global tradeables implies that stabilising the USD/INR is not useful for Indian price stability, as it did when DM monetary policy was working properly.
